This is a print from my original artwork in watercolour. Sperm whales - what fascinating animals! The amazing depths they can dive to and the length of time they can hold their breath - up to 2 hours - makes them record breakers. I saw several from a boat off Kaikoura, New Zealand and just wanted to jump in the water with them and be in their world for a while...

Another of my moon and stars mixed media paintings. A humpback whale breaching in the moonlight. I love the magic and stillness of the night and it's even more special at sea with breaching whales all around you. I experienced this during my whale research in the Caribbean - unforgettable!
