I took this photograph at Orana Wildlife Park near Christchurch, New Zealand. I was in a cage being driven through the lion's enclosure while they were being fed meat through the bars of the cage. It was a thrilling experience and it was good that the humans were in a cage for a change.

Orana Wildlife Park is registered charity and is internationally renowned for its involvement in zoo-based breeding programmes for endangered exotic and native species.

Another of my photographs at Orana Wildlife Park in New Zealand. I was in a cage being driven through the lion enclosure while 8 lions were being fed meat. They were on the prowl and dribbling on me from the roof of the cage. Quite a privilege to be dribbled on by a lion and live to tell the tale!

Pampered Cows

I took this photograph near Invercargill in New Zealand. We saw a lovely old lady pushing a wheelbarrow with feed for her cows. She looked up and smiled at us as we went past. When we saw the cows, they all had blankets on (it was summer). She obviously loved her cows and they were very pampered. I love this photo - it's very heartwarming.
